My name is Kara, and I am the founder of the Purple Bow Boutique. Sending gifts and care packages has always been one of my favorite things to do - everything from coming up with an idea and picking out the perfect products, to creatively packaging and then mailing them to their recipient. I have always said that if I could give gifts to people for a living, I would! 

When the opportunity to do just that presented itself, I jumped at the chance! With the support of my husband, family, and friends, I am now able to make my dream career a reality. 

In addition to running this amazing company, I am also the mom to a toddler and pet mom to Mosley, a silky terrier. I live in the Midwest (same area I grew up in), but love to travel near and far.

Giving Back

There are so many great reasons to send someone a gift: a birthday, new job celebration, or even "just because," to name a few. However, it is not always easy to know what to send. Our goal is to make it simple for you to find a meaningful gift that will be beautifully packaged and shipped. 

Additionally, for every package sent, a handwritten card will be sent to a nursing home resident who might not usually be on the receiving end of visitors, phone calls, or mail. So, feel good for making your loved one smile, and then go ahead and upgrade that to great for making a stranger smile as well!
